Saint of the Month: Blessed Carlo Acutis
Carlo Acutis was a regular teenager who loved video games, computers, and spending time with friends. But what made him special was how much he loved Jesus—especially in the Eucharist. Carlo went to Mass every day and used his computer skills to share stories of Eucharistic miracles with the world.
He reminds us that you don’t have to be older or famous to be holy—you just need to put God first and share His love with others. Carlo shows us that even small acts of kindness and faith can make a big difference.
Blessed Carlo, help us to love Jesus the way you did!
September Family Prayer
Loving God,
Thank You for giving us the example of Blessed Carlo Acutis.
Like him, help us to keep Jesus at the center of our lives,
to find joy in the Eucharist,
and to use our talents to share Your love with others.
Bless our family this month with faith, kindness, and courage
to live each day for You.
Amen.
Family Activity: Eucharist Journal
Blessed Carlo Acutis called the Eucharist his “highway to heaven.” This month, make a family Eucharist Journal. After Sunday Mass, spend a few minutes together writing or drawing about the Gospel, the homily, or something that touched your heart during Mass. Younger children can draw pictures, while older kids and adults can write reflections or short prayers.
At the end of the month, look back at your entries as a family and notice how God has been speaking to you through the Eucharist.
September Reflection
September often feels like a fresh start—a new school year, new routines, and new opportunities. It’s a time when we are reminded that faith is meant to be part of our everyday lives, not just something for Sundays. Blessed Carlo Acutis, the young “gamer saint,” shows us how simple it can be: he kept Jesus at the center of his ordinary life, found joy in the Eucharist, and shared God’s love in small but powerful ways.
This month, let us ask: how can I bring Christ into my daily routine—at school, at work, or at home? Holiness isn’t about doing great things, but about doing the little things with love. Like Carlo, may we let God’s presence guide us through September and beyond.
