Every Confirmation candidate must choose a qualified sponsor to support them in their faith journey. The Sponsor Form confirms that your chosen sponsor meets the Church’s requirements and is an active, practicing Catholic. As part of your Confirmation preparation, you’ll keep a journal to reflect on your faith journey. Journals will be handed out at the Confirmation Parent/Student Meeting on September 16. Each week, your catechist will give you a new assignment, and journals will be checked weekly for completion.
For preparation of your child’s Confirmation, each candidate must submit their chosen saint name exactly as it should appear. This form also gives parents the opportunity to verify the correct spelling and give approval of the name. [Click here to complete the Saint Name Form ➜]
As part of Confirmation preparation, you’ll create a poster about your chosen Saint—your patron and role model in faith. This is your chance to share their story, virtues, and why you chose them. You’ll present your poster in class so everyone can learn from one another’s Saints.
